Vanessa
The work Vanessa is a photographic longterm documentation about my younger sister. She suffers from a very seldom autoimmune desease called leukopenia. During the last 12 years she was forced to spend most of her lifetime in hospitals. After two bone marrow transplatations her condition is still unstable without prospect of a final cure. Vanessa has to bear a life in state of emergency, in which death is an ever-present possibility.
